Lead and Background Vocals, Bass Guitar

David's musical career began at the age of 13, when he became road and equipment manager (and part-time singer) for his brothers' and sister's band The Ethics, while living in Japan. After moving to Maryland, he sang and played bass guitar and had the unique opportunity to perform with Dizzy Gillespie. David attended the Hampton Institute where he toured and performed singing tenor and solos with the Chapel, College, and Concert Choirs. David's voice has been heard at the Christian Broadcasting Network's complex in Portsmouth, Virginia (performing with Andre Crouch and the Virginia Philharmonic), the Symphony Hall in Chicago, the US Virgin Islands, the Kennedy Center, the Cathedral of the Church of St. John the Divine in New York City (with The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Sarah Vaughn, Dave Brubeck, and Joe Williams), and Carnegie Hall.
