Joey has cultivated his bass playing, on and off, since the age of 15. In the early 80's, he landed a gig with Legacy, a regional band that toured for four grueling years. After Legacy, Joey opted to stay in the local region and play bass with many area bands such as Tight Fitt, Under the Table, Burp the Kat, Stiff Richard, and the Reagan Years. He also has performed opening acts for such bands as Blue Oyster Cult, Eddie Money, Johnny Winter, Night Ranger, Smithereens, and .38 Special. Joey also pursues his love for sound engineering and production. He has excelled in this area. So far, the 'Music Monthly Magazine' annual reader's poll has awarded Joey the title of "Best Sound Engineer of the Year (Middle Atlantic Area)" three times. He has received various other honorable nominations from this magazine too. So it's no surprise to find that he has provided Audio support for the likes of "Van Morrison". Joey also provides local Sound Production, and is the exclusive sound engineer for some extremely talented local bands such as, The Reagan Years, Crash Nelson, and Reality Jones. In addition to this, he still finds time to design and manufacture Custom, Hi- End, Commercial Tour Grade, Bass Guitar Speakers, Pa Speakers, Flight Cases, Racks and related electronics. When approached about how he likes playing bass for TMD, Joey responded, "This is something I have always wanted to do. I am having the most absolute, best time of my life with these great guys. It's much more fun than I ever imagined."
