Dave is a 17 year veteran of the saxophone. During his development as a musician he toured Europe in 1985 with a concert band and a jazz band composed of select musicians from 3 east-coast states, and was invited back in 1986 to perform at the Monteraux Jazz Festival, in Switzerland. He has received numerous awards including 'Outstanding Saxophone Soloist' at the Orlando Music Festival. Before joining TMD & the Brass Soulution three years ago, Dave performed with such local acts as the Hank Levy Jazz Band at Towson State University and the Al Patacca Jazz Band, based in Baltimore; as well as various community orchestras and jazz organizations. Dave has now expanded his expertise to R&B by applying his virtuosity to the Brass Soulution on tenor, baritone, alto, and soprano saxophones.
